This past week, I had to great pleasure and opportunity to go out with Falling in Reverse on their Rest in Space Tour alongside Pierce the Veil and Crown the Empire. I flew out to Grand Rapids and started working almost immediately. The turnout for these shows was jaw-dropping and different from what I was exposed to on previous, smaller tours. Falling in Reverse and their crew are amazing people and some of the most committed individuals I've ever met. They make sure that they sound good and put on the best performance they can. The smallest of nuances would bother them for the rest of the show because, after being for a band and playing live for this long, they want to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Of course, flying out and being with a group of people you hardly know is quite nerve-racking. But everyone seemed to make everything comfortable for me and not long after, I felt part of the crew. I wanted to make sure I did my job, did it well, and push on to the next day.
Hearing some of their new songs has got me really pumped for the album. Be sure to follow them and preorder the album "Coming Home" April 7th.
A huge thank you to the Falling in Reverse band and crew for letting me on and making me feel welcome. Thank you to Ronnie, Christian, Ryan, Derek, Zakk, Josh, Joe, Ron, Jim, Willard, Miles, Tyson, and the PTV and CTE crew. I hope to see all these guys soon.
